Firstly what is a hyperlink?
It is an electronic link providing direct access from one distinctively marked place in a hypertext or hypermedia document to another in the same or a different document or website.
How do I create a hyperlink in Career Tools?
Hyperlinks can be created in a few different places:
- Emails
- All Custom Pages
- Events Calendar
- Newsfeed
- Student Recognition
- Scholarships
- Current Opportunities
- The Message Board
- Simply highlight/select the text you are wishing to add a link to
- Click the circled button below
3. As below, a pop up will appear for you to insert (type or copy and paste) the link.
4. Click the blue "Insert Link" button
4A. Alternatively you can click to upload a document or use an existing document
You will then see the hyperlink has been added, the text will be blue and underlined.
Note: Don't forget to also save the page you are working/hyperlinking on. For example, if it is the message board you will still need to click the blue "Save" button.
